Hey all,

I've been tryin to stand my R6 up for a walk, but i've been having trouble getting it up in anything but 1st.  I can pop it up in second, but need really high rpms.  advice?

Change front or rear sprocket ( need lower gearing )

and/or

reduce preload and zero-out compression dampener. ( rear shock )

throttle roll that R6 out to 8000rpm, then pin-it.

you should be able to do it in first with just twisting the throttle and leaning back and the usual but to get up in second on a 600 i would say lower the front sprocket and raise the back,i did it to my gixxer and its alittle crazy at first but i got used to it and now we tear sh*t up

As a fellow R6 rider and wheelie guy , I'll help you out.  I had the same problem when I first started riding. The R6 is not the best wheelie bike out there because it's peeky and very short. Here goes: Second gear is much better for gettin' it up ( I think so at least) so you'll need to bounce it or clutch it up. In second from a low RPM , hit the gas hard and with one finger (adjust your clutch if need be) pop the clutch in and out like you're pulling a trigger.Keep the throttle open and it'll come up quick. It's really easy once you figure it out. Try it going slow for a while and after some practice you'll be on LVX ! Any questions?
